Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (such as videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites functions in the same way as if you were visiting the other website directly.

These external websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interactions with the embedded content. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email to enhance security and verification.

Beyond this, we do not share your data with any third parties, except for the responsible parties listed on the Be POPIA Compliant website, accessible from the footer of our website. This ensures transparency in how your data is handled.

We partner with Be POPIA Compliant to facilitate your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This service provides an easy way for you to take action or file a complaint if you believe your data has not been handled correctly.

How long we retain your data

What rights you have over your data

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to update or delete your personal data. Using Be POPIA Compliant, we make it easy for you to exercise these rights, but it is very important that you first provide your consent. If you do not give consent, you will not be able to make use of certain services on our website.

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. Please note, this does not include data we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
